Kanye West Re-Filed Trademark Applications For ‘Yeezus’ Days Before Tweeting About His Consumer Takeover!
April 25, 2018He'll let you finish, Apple, but Kanye West says Yeezus (or Yeezy… he's still not sure) will be the greatest company of ALL TIME.
Days before the rap titan tweeted about the global domination of his company, he apparently re-filed 24 trademark applications for all things "Yeezus."
According to records obtained by The Blast, Kanye attempted to secure his biblical moniker on April 20 for everything ranging from record production to athletics, cosmetics, a kitchen line, bedding, paper goods, press campaign buttons, toys, video games, clothing, cosmetics, and even jewelry!

Though his apparel company is called Yeezy, it sounds like Kim Kardashian's husband will use Yeezus — which was also the name of his 2013 album — to market the other cornerstones of his soon-to-be conglomerate.
Kanye first filed the trademark docs in 2014, but later abandoned the paperwork in 2017. Based on his Twitter tirade, he's officially ready to take over the consumer word — whether it's with the name Yeezy or Yeezus.
On Wednesday, the rapper declared his company will reach a billion dollars by the end of the year and is the "2nd fastest growing company in history." He also claimed he makes more money in shoes than Michael Jordan.
If that's not enough indication of his inevitable takeover, Kanye said he has 160 positions to fill at Yeezy. Of course, only "genius level talents" need apply, like the recently hired "head of supply chain from the Gap."
Sounds like he's gunning to be a true Yeezussance man.
