A new tabloid report claiming Brad Pitt wants babies with MIT professor Neri Oxman is completely absurd. As Gossip Cop has already stressed, the two aren’t romantically involved. We can set the record straight on this latest nonsense.
According to Heat, the movie star isn’t wasting his time with “casual dating,” but is instead “ready for family number two” after supposedly “going official” with Oxman. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Brad loves being a dad more than anything… He’s open to the idea of having more kids in the future and Neri is the kind of person he would want that with.”
As the story goes, Angelina Jolie will be furious when she hears about her estranged husband’s desire to have children with another woman. “It’s going to be tough for her to come to terms with the idea of Brad having kids with Neri,” says the questionable insider. “Whether she likes it or not, she’s just going to have to accept that he’s moved on.”
The seemingly phony tipster says Pitt is willing to explore several options in order to have a baby with Oxman, “whether naturally or via adoption or surrogate.” The alleged insider concludes, “Brad is really pro-adoption, and it goes without saying that he loves his adopted children just as much as his biological children… He’d definitely consider doing it again.”
However, there’s one major problem with the tabloid’s account of the situation. Pitt and Oxman are strictly friends, as Gossip Cop has stressed since rumors about the pair’s nonexistent romance first emerged. Reliable entertainment outlets such as E! News and People have also noted that Pitt and Oxman have a purely “professional friendship,” which began last year when they met through an MIT architecture project. Meanwhile, the actor’s own spokesperson has assured us on the record they’re not a couple. Simply put, Pitt isn’t planning to have children with a woman he isn’t dating.
Additionally, when the New York Post broke the news about Pitt and Oxman spending time together, the publication specifically stated, “Their friendship has not turned into romance.” Unfortunately, a slew of unreliable publications then heightened the situation by creating a fake love affair.
As for the magazine’s assertion the actor is ready for a second family with another woman, “Entertainment Tonight” reported less than a month ago that Pitt “is in no way ready to get serious with anyone.” The trusted entertainment news show also noted, “Dating hasn’t been a priority because Brad wants to spend more time with the children.”
