Taylor Swift, Katy Perry Both Moving To London?

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are not both moving to London, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. Perry’s rep tells us it’s not true, while a Swift confidante very recently told us she’s not relocating overseas.

According to NW, Swift is house-hunting in the UK for a property nearby where her boyfriend Joe Alwyn lives. Meanwhile, the unreliable magazine says Perry plans to shack up with Orlando Bloom, possibly in the same area as the fellow singer, who she’s famously feuded with over the years.

A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Taylor loves the UK and how she can live a relatively normal life without being disturbed.” As for Perry, the alleged “insider” adds, “Katy and Orlando are finally ready to settle down and think the best way to do it is to get out of the Hollywood scene.” The publication ends it bogus piece by suggesting there could be major tension if the two singers were to accidentally cross paths.

There won’t be a run-in, however, because neither musician is moving to London. The tabloid’s story is based on information from a seemingly nonexistent “source,” while Perry’s own spokesperson tells Gossip Cop on the record that she’s not moving to London. And, of course, much has been written about Perry’s legal battle to purchase a former convent in L.A., which she ultimately plans to convert into a home for herself, her mom and her grandmother.

Meanwhile, a Swift confidante tells us on background she’s not looking for homes in England. In fact, we already debunked the inaccurate claim that Swift was house-hunting in London when The Sun made up a similar story earlier this month. Additionally, Swift is set to travel the globe for her Reputation Stadium Tour, which kicks off next month and runs through November. The idea the singer is planning to settle down in London when she’s going to be on the road for the rest of the year doesn’t make sense.

Instead, it seems NW decided to capitalize on the fact that both Swift and Perry have British boyfriends by coming up with a ridiculous narrative involving their imaginary moves to London. It’s worth noting, Gossip Cop busted the untrustworthy outlet last month for wrongly reporting Swift and Alwyn were engaged and planning a wedding, which isn’t the case. The magazine clearly has little insight into the singer’s personal life, including her living situation. And, based on Perry’s rep, it also has no clue about her either.
