Caitlyn Jenner Using Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal To Reconcile With Khloe Kardashian?

Caitlyn Jenner is not using Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal as a way to reconcile with Khloe Kardashian, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. A rep for the former Olympian tells us it’s not true.

“Caitlyn Begs New Mom Khloe: Let Me Back In!” reads a new RadarOnline headline. The accompanying article claims Jenner is “desperate” to repair her fractured relationship with Kardashian, who hasn’t spoken to the former athlete ever since she slammed her mom Kris in her memoir. An alleged insider tells the blog that Jenner now hopes her former stepdaughter is “so hurt and vulnerable” following Thompson’s infidelities that she’ll want to reconnect.

The blog’s seemingly phony source alleges, “[Caitlyn’s] doing what she can, sending flowers and notes, offering a shoulder to cry on.” The questionable tipster further contends that Jenner’s “not really sorry for the things she’s said about Kris, but she’s sorry it cut ties to her stepdaughters.” But while the outlet is basing these claims on information from an anonymous and untraceable source, Jenner’s own spokesperson tells Gossip Cop on the record that she hasn’t tried to reconnect with Kardashian in the wake of Thompson’s cheating scandal.

The blog’s assertion that the transgender star is “desperate” to be back in Kardashian’s life isn’t accurate either. During an interview on “Piers Morgan’s Life Stories” in January, Jenner revealed she doesn’t trust the Kardashians and is “only concerned about” her biological daughters, Kendall and Kylie. Meanwhile, Kardashian let it be known in February that having a baby won’t resolve her feud with Jenner, so it’s unlikely the former Olympian would try to reach out following her comments. Regardless, Jenner’s rep confirms the blog’s story is fabricated.

It’s worth noting, Gossip Cop has called out RadarOnline in the past for coming up with a similar premise. In November, we busted the blog for falsely claiming Jenner was “desperate” to end her feud with the Kardashians, so much so that she was staging run-ins and showing up at their houses unannounced. Although it’s not out of the realm of possibility Jenner will reconcile with the family at some point in the future, it doesn’t appear to be happening anytime soon, and she certainly isn’t capitalizing on Thompson’s cheating scandal to do so.
