The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival may draw celebrities into the desert, but the invite-only parties around the concert grounds are why they stay for the entire weekend.
This year, A-listers came out in droves to attend some of the biggest, craziest and most outrageous bashes ever thrown. From Kylie Jenner stepping out for her first post-baby public appearance to hot hookups, here are all the star sightings in and around Coachella.
Friday, April 13
During the day, Paris Hilton, Olivia Culpo, Victoria Justice, and Sara and Erin Foster were all vibing in matching white outfits during Rachel Zoe’s annual ZOEasis get-together at the Parker Palm Springs. Lisa Rinna also seemed to have gotten the style memo by rocking a crisp white suit to the Marrakech-inspired cocktail hour with Belvedere Vodka.
Making her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter Stormi Webster, Kylie rolled up to the TAO x Revolve Desert Night after-hours party with boyfriend Travis Scott and BFF Jordyn Woods and settled down at a VIP table with Nicki Minaj and Quavo. Though ex-boyfriend Tyga — who arrived holding hands with Iggy Azalea — was also at the same bash, a source told Celebuzz! the two did no interact at all.
Kylie was also seen stopping by BMW i’s Powered Paradise In The Desert hosted by the Poppy nightclub to support older sis Kendall Jenner’s launch of Pizza Boys Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1. A party insider told us Kylie hit the stage at around 2:50 a.m. during Travis’ DJ set, standing behind her man as she danced with with Kendall and pal Justine Skye.
Wearing head-to-toe denim, Rihanna was spotted dancing in the crowd with a bottle of Bud Light in hand.
Saturday, April 14
Kylie wasn’t the only one to run into an ex over the weekend! Kendall spotted Blake Griffin, whom she was linked to last year, while hanging out with friends at the Bootsy Bellows Pool Party presented by McDonald’s & PacSun. Though the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was dancing close by to the NBA star, a party snitch told us the two didn’t make an attempt to greet each other at the star-studded bash.
Like any good gal pal, Gigi and Bella Hadid kept Kendall entertained inside their own poolside cabana. As friends sipped on Tequila Avión drinks, Bella cracked open a bottle of champagne and sent a cork flying through the garden — narrowly missing a few passing party guests — when she popped a bottle of bubbly.
When the sun went down, A-listers flocked to Neon Carnival presented by The Levi’s Brand’s with Tequila Don Julio — after catching Beyoncé at the festival, natch — to party the night away. Trying to remain incognito, Leonardo DiCaprio wore 3D glasses all night held as he got cozy with rumored fling Camila Morrone at his private table. Other famous faces seen in the VIP section included French Montana, Amber Rose, Diddy, and Jhene Aiko, who ran up to Chance the Rapper to give him a hug for his birthday.
Though Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend, Younes Bendjima, was spotted walking around the carnival grounds with a group of guy friends, he was inseparable from the reality star when they showed up to Cash App’s Friends Keep Secrets party that same night. A party snitch told us the two arrived hand-in-hand and “looked very happy” dancing with each other throughout the night.
Sunday, April 15
Proving that the party don’t stop for stars, the celebrity crowd was out in full force for the last day of Coachella. Snoop Dogg and Chance the Rapper both hit the stage at the #REVOLVEfestival, where Alessandra Ambrosio and Fifth Harmoney’s Lauren Jauregui were also seen taking photos around the picturesque Merv Griffin Estate.
At night, TAO x Revolve Desert Night kept the fun going with yet another house party. Returning for the second night in a row, Stranger Things couple Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton was spied canoodling in a private booth as pals — including Riverdale’s Camila Mendes, Hart Denton and Vanessa Morgan — danced to remixes of Nirvana. Meanwhile, G-Eazy and Halsey held hands as they held court at their own private table.
