British Man Claims Painkillers Made Him Gay

Pfizer runs a lot of adds for Lyrica, a pill used to treat neuropathy and nerve pain, something that could be treated more safely and probably more effectively with simple cannabis. Seriously, because they say what the drug does, they have listed its side effects, which can include things like suicidal thoughts and rapid weight gain, but does not include making you gay. But a man in Britain insists that after taking Lyrica he wanted to have sex with guys and not women.

23-year-old Scott Purdy broke his foot and was given Lyrica to treat the pain. After taking the pill, he realized he was now mad for dick and broke up with his girlfriend.

He said: “I noticed my libido for women had gone and I was wanting male attention.”

“I was with a girlfriend I had been with for around six months. I had never been interested in men. When I was younger I was a little bit curious but…”

Scott added: “I’m very happy. I want to keep on taking it because it makes me feel happy about my sexuality. It’s made me feel very open. It’s liberating.”

Okay, so Lyrica, in addition to being prescribed for nerve pain, is also prescribed for anxiety. I’m not a doctor but I’m going to go out on a limb and say Scott here has always wanted to bang dudes but was scared of the social stigma of being gay. Which is surprising because he kind of looks like a lesbian.

The best part is Scott wants to keep taking Lyrica because he’s afraid if he stops he’ll start wanting vaginas again. It doesn’t work like that, mate. When you’re a jet you’re a jet all the way, from your first cigarette to your last dying day. Unless you’re actually bisexual, which seems likely, and in that case just relax and enjoy yourself.
