Media outlets in New Jersey are reporting that police in the city of Englewood say the rapper — real name John Jackson — turned himself into authorities at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening over what's being termed as a domestic dispute.
Among other things, Fabolous was charged with making a terroristic threat.
Court documents indicate that everything here started back on March 7 when Jackson was in Los Angeles on a business trip, and learned via his Instagram account that Emily B was also on the west coast at the time.
For whatever reason, that enraged Jackson, and the 40-year-old rapper told his baby momma via text that he wanted to hit her in the head with a baseball bat, and that he wanted to kill her, though he "did not want to go out like that."
Later, when the two met again face to face, Fabolous allegedly punched her in the face seven times, knocking out her two front teeth in the process.

After that incident, the woman called her father, asking him to remove two handguns from a residence in Englewood so that Fabolous could not use them against her, according to court documents.
The father removed the guns, and soon after, Fabolous showed up looking for them. When he couldn't find the guns, the rapper confronted the victim, her father, and her brother, by saying "that he had a bullet for them," according to the court docs.
We are deeply, deeply concerned about Fabolous' horrific string of violence and violent threats against Emily and her family.
Of course, we'll continue to update you with more as this horrifying issue winds through the court system…
