Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex Nick Gordon has entered a not guilty plea to the charge of battery for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
According to Florida’s Seminole County Court documents obtained by Radar, Gordon’s attorney entered the plea on his behalf on Wednesday. He was initially scheduled for arraignment on April 6. The Blast was the first to report the news.
As Radar previously reported, Gordon was arrested on March 10 for battery after his girlfriend, Laura Leal, told police he hit her in the cheek “several times” and pulled her hair.
According to an arrest report obtained by Radar at the time, Leal told police she did not want to press charges. However, police took Gordon into custody after officers observed Leal with a “slightly swollen bottom lip with dried blood.”
Following the arrest, Gordon claimed to Radar that he has “never” assaulted Leal.
“I’m the one who gets abused and it’s a weekly thing,” Gordon further claimed.

Following the battery arrest, a Florida judge slapped Gordon with a no contact order, banning him from having any contact with Leal. On March 19, Gordon was arrested for violating that order after an anonymous caller alerted police that the couple was together.
In 2016, a judge ruled that Gordon was civilly liable for the death of his ex-girlfriend and Whitney Houston‘s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Earlier this month, Gordon exclusively told Radar that he believes Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, is to blame for her death.
