Sofia Richie, Scott Disick Stories From HollywoodLife Exposed As Made-Up Lies

A series of untrue stories about Sofia Richie and Scott Disick from HollywoodLife were made-up. In fact, the site’s most recent piece exposes all its lies. Allow Gossip Cop to explain what’s going on.

On Saturday, the website announced in a headline, “Is Sofia Richie Getting Ready To Dump Scott? She’s Tired Of His ‘Obsession’ With Kourtney.” In the accompanying article, the blog purported to have “exclusive details” on how the couple is “on the outs.” A so-called “source” was quoted as claiming Richie was “cooling off” on the relationship. That was followed on Sunday by a piece titled, “Sofia Richie Realizing Scott Disick May Not Be The ‘Love Of Her Life’ As Relationship Gets Boring.” Here, a “source” alleged Disick was “showing his true colors” and being a “[expletive] to her a lot of the time,” yet the outlet provided no evidence to substantiate either contention.

Then on Monday, yet another report was offered, this one headlined, “Sofia Richie & Scott Disick Have Majorly ‘Toxic’ Relationship: ‘Explosive’ Fights, Makeup Sex & More.” The online publication absurdly alleged Disick’s “drama-filled nine-year relationship with baby mama Kourtney Kardashian was a walk in the park compared to his explosive, fight-filled romance” with Richie. Again pretending to have “exclusive details,” the website babbled on about the model and reality star supposedly struggling to get along.

That brings us to Tuesday, when HollywoodLies, as the site is nicknamed, seemingly forgot about all of those stories and completely changed its tune. After Richie posted a loving tribute to Disick on Instagram, the blog declared, “All is apparently well in Sofia Richie’s relationship with Scott Disick.” Completely contradicting its tales from the last three days, in which the outlet repeatedly insisted Richie was souring on the romance, the publication observed that she now “assured fans that she’s still head over heels for her much older boyfriend.”

This latest article goes on to describe Richie as “blissfully happy” and “in a good place” with Disick, before concluding, “So there ya have it. Sofia and Scott are all good. She’s in love.” What happened to Richie “getting ready to dump” him? This is an unequivocal flip-flop. And the explanation why is obvious.

HollywoodLies’ previous “exclusives” about the couple’s relationship falling apart were manufactured and inaccurate. When Richie made clear on Instagram that Disick still has her heart, the website was forced to change course. Of course, if the site really had a “source,” as it repeatedly claimed in those stories, it would’ve known all along that Richie and Disick’s romance wasn’t suffering.

Not to mention, no reputable publication ever corroborated those suspicious claims. People even interviewed Disick about Richie on Friday, and nothing was said about there being problems between them. Gossip Cop has regularly pointed out how the blog seems to be lying with its stories about the couple. But isn’t it better when the outlet’s own actions prove it?
