Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Married In Paris?

Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston Married Paris

(NW)

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were married again in Paris, according to a completely untrue tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can debunk this phony report, which claims the exes recently eloped. It is entirely fabricated.

The made-up claims come from NW, which is trying to sell its new issue with some deceptive photos (see above). Its cover features the same fake photo of Pitt and Aniston “kissing” that’s been circulating in the tabloids over the last week. As Gossip Cop has reported, this image was originally photoshopped by Star, which took a 2010 snapshot of Pitt kissing Angelina Jolie and digitally edited Aniston into her place. Several gossip magazines have been using the manipulated picture to falsely claim Pitt and Aniston are back together.

NW is now the latest to try to dupe readers, and the outlet actually goes a step further by featuring pictures of Aniston in a wedding dress. This is another trick. As opposed to being evidence that the actress recently wed Pitt in France, the photos are really of Aniston filming a wedding scene with Owen Wilson on the 2008 set of Marley & Me. They are not from a “secret ceremony” with Pitt that’s “rocked Hollywood,” contrary to the publication’s claims.

Still, the article itself alleges that “Hollywood is abuzz with bombshell rumors” that Aniston and Pitt “decided to make their reconciliation official by exchanging vows during a romantic and super-secret getaway to Paris.” Naturally, it’s not said when this purported “getaway” supposedly took place, but the magazine maintains “insiders are convinced” they “eloped in Paris.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “They had the time of their lives in Paris.” Curiously, the outlet notes its alleged source “wouldn’t confirm the venue” for the supposed nuptials, but claims Aniston and Pitt were “spotted close to The Ritz.”

It’s further asserted that they were “spied making their way into a central Paris hotel via a side entrance, with Jen wearing a tell-tale white dress.” Of course, the publication is merely describing the decade-old photos from the production Marley & Me. There are no recent pictures of Aniston in France, nor of Pitt, for that matter. As for why they weren’t photographed at the airport, the tabloid conveniently contends they left Los Angeles on a private jet “in the dead of night.”

And what about the not-so-tiny problem of Aniston and Pitt both still being legally wed to other people? Well, the magazine oddly writes that there’s “speculation Brad is still technically married” to Jolie. That’s not speculation. It’s fact. Pitt and Jolie have yet to reach a divorce settlement, and no judge has signed off on dissolving their marriage. The outlet, of course, should know that if it really has an “insider” as claimed. Instead, it tries to dismiss the issue by citing an alleged “source,” who contends that Pitt has told Aniston he has “no hesitation in making [their marriage] official” when they legally can. In other words, the publication is admitting that the supposedly reunited couple aren’t actually married, at least not in any way that actually counts.

So, here are the two main takeaways: The tabloid backs away from its “married” claims at the end of the article and the only photos it has to substantiate its claims of a wedding in Paris are actually unrelated pictures from years ago. For further proof the magazine is full of it, remember that People has already credibly reported that not only is a real Aniston-Pitt reunion “unlikely,” but the former spouses haven’t even seen each other in quite some time. There was no Parisian elopement. These are all lies.
