Paris Jackson & Cara Delevingne were making out, but they’re not ‘dating’

From what I’ve seen of the Hollywood/celebrity lesbian/bisexual community, they’re an insular, close-knit bunch. They all date each other and I’m sure there’s drama when someone moves on a bit too quickly, but they mostly manage to keep it out of the mainstream gossip. There are two women who seem to go through girlfriends like tissue paper: Kristen Stewart and Cara Delevingne. It’s actually a wonder Cara and Kristen haven’t dated, but they’re too busy dating each other’s exes. Anyway, Cara possibly has a new girlfriend, and shock of shock, this is not someone within the existing girlfriend group: Paris Jackson. Paris and Cara were seen kissing in LA outside of the steakhouse Carlito’s.
According to Page Six, Cara and Paris met last May at the MTV Movie Awards and they’ve been friendly ever since. They’ve been showing up on each other’s social media too, but the kiss is new (or new to us). After these photos came out, *someone* wanted everyone to know that Paris and Cara are not dating though.
They’ve been spending plenty of time together and were photographed sharing a smooch on Thursday, but Paris Jackson and Cara Delevingne are just friends—for now.
“They have a flirty friendship but aren’t dating or in a relationship,” a source tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Paris is 19 years old and living her life. She has no plans to settle down any time soon.”
Earlier this week, Jackson—who hasn’t publicly spoken about her sexuality—and Delevingne, 25, spurred romance rumors after sharing snaps of themselves on social media watching Carol together. The models were also photographed holding hands last month while out with friends in London.
Sure. I’m not going into conspiracy mode or anything – I think it’s more than possible that Paris and Cara are just friends and they have an affectionate, kissy relationship without it going any further. I also think it’s possible that they’re hooking up and it’s nothing serious. They’re young and rich and nepotism is in the air. Let them have fun. It’s not scandalous. My only issue with this is that I just wish Paris Jackson would stop trying to be a celebrity and just go to school. But she’s not going to do that.
