Caitlyn Jenner is not “terrified she will lose her nose” due to skin cancer, despite a report. A website is shamefully trying to exploit the star’s health situation with untrue claims. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the story.

On Tuesday, Jenner shared on Instagram that she underwent a procedure on her facial skin. Alongside a picture of the tip of her nose appearing raw and red, she wrote in the caption, “I recently had to get some sun damage removed from my nose. PSA – always wear your sunblock!” Within just a few hours, RadarOnline attempted to capitalize on her confession by alleging to have insight on the medical ordeal.

The site quotes a so-called “pal” as saying “Caitlyn’s biggest fear is that she will lose her nose,” amid alleged concerns that doctors may have to “take more skin off” if the damage has “spread.” This supposed source contends Jenner is having a “breakdown” over the situation, particularly since “with all her plastic surgeries on her nose over the years there isn’t much there to begin with.” The Olympian is also described as “going overboard about dying,” to the point where she’s allegedly “using her condition to guilt trip” family members into “spending more time with her.”

“She’s taking desperate measures and calling everyone about needing to spend time with her because she doesn’t know what’s going to happen,” contends the website’s purported tipster. But this is not the first time the star has such a health scare. In 2012 and 2013, Jenner also had surgery for skin cancer, an issue she explained she had been “struggling with… for several years.”

Like back then, Jenner’s latest procedure was for a cancerous basal cell carcinoma. It is common to go under the knife multiple times over the course of several years as needed for this issue. In fact, Hugh Jackman has been documenting his similar ongoing battle with skin cancer on his nose since 2013. Such a problem doesn’t mean either is at risk for losing their entire nose. RadarOnline is grossly sensationalizing the situation for its own gain, with a rep for Jenner exclusively telling Gossip Cop that the blog’s take on this matter is “complete bull.”

Notably, that’s the case for a number of the outlet’s articles about the “I Am Cait” star. The online publication has peddled a number of inaccurate stories over the years about various health woes, even alleging last year that Jenner was “going deaf.” Multiple times the site has also run nonsense about her adopting or having a baby via surrogate. Its reporting, if one can even call it that, leaves a lot to be desired.
