Nicole Richie NOT “Pleading With Sofia” To End Scott Disick Romance, Despite Report

Nicole Richie is not “pleading with” Sofia Richie to end her romance with Scott Disick before his kids get too attached to her, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this story. We’re told it’s completely fabricated.

According to HollywoodLife, Nicole isn’t happy about her little sister’s relationship with Disick because she believes the reality star is both “way too old” and a bad influence. An alleged insider tells the site that Nicole “freaked out when she learned that Sofia has been hanging out with Scott’s kids,” and felt compelled to take action.

“Being a mom herself, Nicole knows how attached kids can become to parental type figures,” adds the phony source. “So Nicole is pleading with Sofia to get out of the relationship before Scott’s kids become too involved in her life and things get more complicated.” The supposed tipster further contends that Nicole had believed Sofia’s relationship with Disick would only be a “brief phase,” but she’s becoming increasingly concerned as they grow closer.

But Gossip Cop checked in with a mutual pal of ours and Nicole, who exclusively assures us the blog’s story is completely “made-up.” We’re further told that no one in the fashion designer’s inner circle told the website how she feels about her little sister dating Disick. This story seems to have been concocted because Sofia was spotted hanging out with Disick and two of his children in Los Angeles earlier this week, which caused some derision on social media. Nicole, however, hasn’t weighed in on the situation.

Of course, HollywoodLife constantly pretends to have insight into Sofia’s relationship with the reality star, so we’re not surprised by the blog’s latest attempt to appear informed. In fact, this isn’t the first time the site has dragged Disick’s children into the narrative. Earlier this week, Gossip Cop busted the blog for falsely claiming Kourtney Kardashian warned Sofia to stay away from her kids.

Shortly before that, we called out the untrustworthy outlet for purporting to have “exclusive details” about how Disick’s kids “loved meeting” Sofia. The blog’s countless stories about the model and reality star’s relationship are fictional. This latest article involving Sofia’s sister Nicole can be added to the collection.
