Cameron Diaz is over Hollywood.
The 45-year-old star has retired from acting, according to pal Selma Blair.
While talking about a potential follow-up to their 2002 movie, The Sweetest Thing, the actress revealed the Charlie’s Angels alum — whose last flick, Annie, came out in 2014 — will no longer be reading scripts for roles anymore.
“I had lunch with Cameron the other day, we were reminiscing about the film,” Blair, 45, told The Metro in an interview released Sunday, March 11. “I would have liked to do a sequel but Cameron’s retired from acting, she’s like, ‘I’m done.’ I mean, she doesn’t need to make any more films, she has a pretty great life, I don’t know what it would take to bring her back. She’s happy.”

Though Cameron has not officially announced her retirement, she did hint about stepping away from the movie industry to work on herself at the Goop Wellness Summit last year. “I just went, ‘I can’t really say who I am to myself,’” she during a discussion panel. “Which is a hard thing to face up to. I felt the need to make myself whole.”
Cameron married Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden in January 2015 after a less than a year of dating, sparking speculations that she was ready to have kids and start a family.
“One of my favorite things about being married, is how much pride I take in my husband @benjaminmadden…” she wrote on Instagram in 2016. “He makes me proud everyday.. One day it might be how generous and giving, another how gentle and thoughtful. Or when he is fiercely protective of the people he loves and cares about… And everyday single day I am so incredibly proud of his integrity as a human being..”
