Caitlyn Jenner Crushing On Hugh Hefner’s Widow Crystal Harris?

Is Caitlyn Jenner crushing on Hugh Hefner’s widow, Crystal Harris? That’s the claim, according to The Globe, and spread online by New Idea. But Gossip Cop is exclusively told it’s “not true.”

A so-called “source close” to Jenner is quoted as saying, “Cait thinks Crystal is an absolute doll and would date her in a heartbeat.” What makes it “scandalous,” contends New Idea, is that the former Olympian was friends with Hefner. The tabloid goes on to assert, “Caitlyn met Crystal at the Playboy mansion when she was still Bruce Jenner and was drawn to her beauty,” and now not only wants to date her, but also wants to look exactly like Harris.

The same supposed “insider” maintains, “Cait wants to know everything about Crystal, from what kind of shampoo she uses to her favorite makeup.” “She’s turning into a complete Crystal copycat and people are starting to notice,” alleges the unnamed and untraceable “source.” The magazine’s tipster adds that after Hefner passed away in September 2017, “Cait’s reached out to Crystal to get together for drinks and dinner… She’s hoping it leads to something a lot deeper.”

It’s true Hefner and Jenner were friends for more than 40 years. But it’s absolutely false that Jenner is crushing on and pursuing Harris. And just because the tabloid’s questionable “source” refers to her more casually as “Cait,” it does not mean the alleged “insider” is remotely close to Jenner or even exists. Regardless, Gossip Cop fact-checked the magazine’s story with Jenner’s rep, who exclusively tells us the article is 100 percent “not true.”

Among other things, Gossip Cop would like to know who’s “starting to notice” that Jenner is turning into a Harris “copycat,” because none of our friends in common with her has mentioned a word about it. Additionally, when was it that Jenner “reached out to Crystal to get together for drinks and dinner,” because after a few months of mourning Hefner’s loss, Harris began traveling around the world and documenting it on her blog. In fact, the Playboy model is currently in the Caribbean after having previously been in Dubai, South Africa, Botswana, and England. Much like Harris’ travels, the tabloid’s premise about Jenner crushing on her is far off.
