Anderson Cooper and his longtime partner, nightclub owner Benjamin Maisani, have officially split after almost nine years together.
The CNN anchor confirmed the breakup with a statement, saying: “Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago. We are still family to each other, and love each other very much. We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together.”

Anderson, 50, is said to be seeing a Texas man named Victor Lopez after the split. The Daily Mail reports that the two have several photos on his rumored beau’s Instagram, though the account is currently set to private.
