Jennifer Lopez already has three divorces under her belt, but that isn’t going to stop her from getting married again.
The 48-year-old multi-hyphenate, who just celebrated her one-year anniversary with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, opened up about marriage in her latest cover story with Harper’s Bazaar. Though she insisted she’s in no rush to head down the aisle with her man, she revealed she does want to spend the rest of her life with someone in holy matrimony.
“I do believe in marriage,” the singer said. “And I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship. But I’m not forcing anything right now.”
She added that she’s perfect happy with how thing are going with A-Rod, 42. “It’s good, it’s healthy; we communicate well. We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t,” she said of their relationship. “We both entered the public eye in our early twenties and overachieved right from the start. And that affects every dynamic in your life, from your family to your work to your relationships. We have a similar makeup.”

J.Lo was previously married to Ojani Noa for nearly a year in 1997, and back-up dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2002. She later tied the knot with Marc Anthony — with whom she shares 10-year-old twins Max and Emme — in 2004, but parted ways the singer in 2011.
Meanwhile, Alex shares daughters Ella, 9, and Natasha, 13, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, who he divorced in 2008 after six years of marriage.
While the “Us” singer is unbelievably happy these days, she told the magazine it took her a very long time to find contentment. “When I was younger I spent a lot of time being half happy and half not happy,” she explained. “I know who I am and what I want. I also know my strengths and weaknesses. It took me a long time to get to a point where I could say something nice about myself. I’m glad I can do that now.”

In terms of strengths, J.Lo listed: “Great performer, great actress, great producer.”
“Most importantly, a great mother, great sister, and a great girlfriend,” she added. “I’ve also been a great wife.”
And we have no doubt she’ll be a great wife again someday.
