Are Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick really having twins again via surrogate? That’s the latest claim coming from one of this week’s tabloids, but Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight. We’re told it’s “not true.”

In 2009, Parker and Broderick’s surrogate gave birth to twin girls, Marion and Tabitha. As widely reported, the actress struggled to get pregnant, prompting her to expand her family with the help of a woman named Michelle Ross. “Meeting your children rather than giving birth to them, it’s as if, um, it’s suspended animation. The gestational experience is gone,” Parker said in a 2010 interview with Vogue. She added, “It’s so different, and equally extraordinary… But it’s amazing.”

Now, according to the latest edition of Star, “Tabitha and Marion may soon have some competition” because Parker and Broderick’s former surrogate is “once again” preparing to make the couple’s “dreams come true.” Without a single source to support its premise, the gossip magazine claims Ross met with a doctor about becoming a surrogate mother for a second time. The outlet further maintains Ross announced the news on her personal Facebook page. Curiously, no other outlet, which all have access to Facebook, reported Parker and Broderick are having another set of twins via Ross.

Allow Gossip Cop to quickly debunk this. We went straight to Parker’s rep, who flat-out told us the tabloid’s article is 100 percent “not true.” Contrary to the magazine’s latest claim, the “Sex And The City Star” and Broderick are not having twins again at all. In 2009, Parker expressed concern for the safety and privacy of Ross, who was followed by paparazzi and reporters throughout the course of her pregnancy. Sadly, nearly nine years after the birth of Parker’s twins via surrogate, the tabloids are still hounding everyone involved.

This isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has corrected an outlet for publishing a bogus report about the couple. We busted Star’s own sister publication, OK!, for wrongly claiming a month ago that Parker and Broderick were having a marriage crisis. In that made-up narrative, which seems to run at odds with them supposedly wanting more kids together, the tabloid untruthfully alleged that after 21 years of marriage, they were on the verging of splitting up. Much like that inaccurate article, the latest claim about Broderick and Parker soon welcoming another set of twins is 100 percent false.
