Sofia Richie “Fed Up” With Scott Disick’s Kourtney Kardashian “Obsession” Is Fake News

An article claiming Sofia Richie is “fed up” with Scott Disick’s “obsession” with Kourtney Kardashian appears to be fake news. The story is filled with suspicious quotes and inconsistent claims. Gossip Cop can bust it.

HollywoodLife seemingly can’t keep its narratives about Richie and Disick straight. Early Friday morning, the site exclaimed in a post, “Nothing can tear Scott Disick and Sofia Richie apart!” The blog surmised that it “seems like all is well in the world of love,” and concluded the couple is “still very much together.” But later on Friday, roughly nine hours after that story, the website offered another one that begins by contradictorily asserting, “Time might be running out on Sofia Richie and Scott Disick’s relationship.”

In this piece, the outlet speculates Richie may be ready to call off the romance because “Scott’s endless fixation on his ex… is pushing Sofia to the brink.” In unnatural language, a so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Sofia is annoyed with Scott’s obsession with his ex Kourtney.” A real person would not to need to say the phrase “his ex Kourtney” like that, which suggests the quote was manufactured.

This seemingly fake insider goes on to contend Richie is “tired of listening to Scott complain” about the mother of his kids, and “really doesn’t like” to hear him “whine” about Kardashian’s relationship with Younes Bendjima. This questionable tipster further maintains, “There is only so much more Sofia can take.” These contentions, however, go against what the online publication said just hours before about all being “well” with them. If HollywoodLies, as it’s nicknamed, really had a reliable “source,” its articles would be consistent and accurate.

But because its assertions are constantly changing, there’s little reason to believe someone close to Richie is actually talking with the site about her feelings. It seems far more likely that the blog concocted this tale to capitalize on recent reports from other outlets that have said Disick is struggling to accept Kardashian’s relationship with Bendjima. In addition, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” has extensively documented how Scott often remains preoccupied by his ex’s life.

So it’s not out of the realm of possibility to claim a current girlfriend is bothered by her boyfriend’s attachment to his ex-girlfriend. The problem is that opposed to having a legitimate scoop about the status of Richie and Disick’s relationship, HollywoodLies appears to have put together a fake news story, which is why it doesn’t match up with the one that came right before it. And while the website is now implying the model may be ready to end things, Richie posted a throwback photo of herself and Disick on Instagram on Thursday.

That same day, Richie and Disick stepped out to shop together. Clearly, she is not so “fed up” with him that she’s no longer spending time with the reality star or showing off their relationship on social media. And while there’s no expectation this coupling will last forever, Gossip Cop is told that however Richie feels about Disick and Kardashian, no one is actually sharing those thoughts with HollywoodLies.
