Sofia Richie “Hoping” Kourtney Kardashian, Younes Bendjima “Won’t Split” Is Made-Up Story

A story claiming Sofia Richie is “hoping” Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima “won’t split” is made-up. The phony premise was designed to capitalize on recent speculation regarding the couple’s relationship. But Richie’s reaction to the rumors was apparently fabricated.

This bogus tale comes from HollywoodLife, which claims Richie is “keeping a close eye” on Kardashian and Bendjima out of “fear” Disick “may try to swoop back in if she becomes a single woman.” Referencing the recent confusion involving Kardashian and Bendjima after they temporarily unfollowed each other on Instagram, the site opines, “You can only imagine how worried Sofia was when reports claimed Kourt and Younes had split.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “She would hate to see Kourtney and Younes split and then Scott try to reconcile with Kourtney on a rebound.”

“As long as Kourtney stays with Younes, Sofia feels that Kourt poses no threat to her happiness with Scott,” alleges the supposed snitch, who unnaturally switches between “Kourt” and “Kourtney.” The blog’s purported tipster goes on to assert, “Sofia is hoping Kourtney’s latest social media action is no indication of any problems with Younes… She doesn’t want to lose [Disick] to Kourtney.” The website contends Richie is even bothered by Disick spending time with Kardashian due to their children.

But here’s what’s really going on: HollywoodLies, as it’s nicknamed, has taken a hot topic in the celebrity news world, Kardashian and Bendjima’s Instagram hiccup, and manufactured a related story. Gossip Cop already pointed this out on Tuesday when the outlet maintained Disick was ready to “ghost” Richie if Kardashian became single. After pretending to know his reaction to the uncertainty surrounding her relationship status, the online publication has now concocted another follow-up post from Richie’s alleged perspective.

Yet while it seems plausible that Richie might feel insecure at times due to Disick’s longtime attachment to Kardashian, it makes little sense to claim she objects to him co-parenting with the mother of his three kids. And as we pointed out in the last bust, should Kardashian’s relationship end, that in no way guarantees a reunion with her former boyfriend will follow. In fact, on the season finale of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which aired just a few days ago, Kardashian asked Disick to respect “boundaries” between them.

HollywoodLies’ take on things is largely unrealistic because it doesn’t actually have genuine insiders to uncover real insight. This is a site that twice accused Richie of trying to transform into Kardashian by darkening her hair without realizing that Richie had dark hair as a kid. Because the blog is seemingly clueless, it tries to piggyback off topics in the news. Its resulting fiction is transparent.
