Kim Kardashian just spilled her biggest beauty secret.
The 37-year-old reality star recently took to her app to open up how she finally became comfortable in her own body. As a someone who struggled with psoriasis, a long-lasting autoimmune disease characterized by red and itchy patches of skin, she admitted it took her a while to accept her condition.
“No matter what shape or size you are, being confident and feeling sexy is such an empowering feeling. Over the years, I’ve been insecure at times about my body, but getting to a place of feeling healthy—and seeing the hard work pay off—is the best kind of success,” she shared. “As I’ve matured, I’ve also gained wisdom to help me look and feel my best whether in sweats—or less!“
For Kim, she found that exfoliating and getting a tan worked best to combat blemishes. “This will make skin appear more even and smooth, and you can also add deeper color to areas where you’d like more definition. If you can’t tone it, tan it—lol,” she wrote.
The KKW Beauty founder also recommended using a body oil like Bio Oil as a moisturizer because it gives skin a natural-looking glow.
“To help get rid of unwanted bloat, drink a ton of water!” she wrote. “To look and feel your best, try standing in dim lighting, which won’t cast unflattering shadows on your body. It will also blur any imperfections and give off a sultry vibe.”

In a separate post, Kim credited the Clarify Home Light Therapy for getting rid of most of her psoriasis.
“Since being diagnosed with Psoriasis, I have tried literally everything! This light therapy system is one of the treatments that has really worked for me,” she revealed. “The phototherapy this hand-held device uses is so amazing at treating my psoriasis. And, it syncs with your phone to alert you to do treatments, take progress photos and gives you step-by-step instructions!”
As for stretch marks and unsightly scars, the Selfish author swore by Coolbeam and Ultrasound Radio Frequency laser treatments.
“After breastfeeding North, I wasn’t happy with the stretch marks on my boobs, so I had the area Coolbeam lasered by Dr. Ourian. It made SUCH a difference.” she said. “The Coolbeam lasers are the best for removing scars, stretch marks and skin imperfections. They treat stretch marks by resurfacing the top layer of skin, which increases collagen regeneration. The best part is that there’s very little pain and downtime! I was really scared that it would hurt, but it wasn’t bad at all.”
