The 18-year-old ‘Grown-ish‘ star recently took a trip to New York City where she met the creator and star of ‘Hamilton’ on Broadway, Lin-Manuel Miranda! The pair took to Twitter to share the awesome experience of their meeting and Lin even called Yara ‘the future president’!
Yara responded to that incredible compliment by crediting ‘Hamilton’ as the reason she passed AP US History in high school! Check out the epic picture of these two super inspiring people here:
