Khloé Kardashian’s family is quickly growing, but she won’t let Caitlyn Jenner be any part of it.
The 33-year-old reality star revealed in a new interview that having a baby will not mend her icy relationship with her former stepdad. Though Kylie Jenner reportedly let the 68-year-old Olympian meet her newborn daughter, Stormi, Khloé said it’ll take more than a pregnancy for old wounds to heal.
“I don’t think that affects anything with Caitlyn,” she told Ross King on the U.K. morning show Lorraine on Thursday, Feb. 8, adding that things will probably stay “just as they are.”
The Good American denim designer has been estranged from Caitlyn, 68, since April 2015 when the retired athlete revealed her identity as a transgender woman. The rocky relationship only took a turn for the worse when Caitlyn released The Secrets of My Life, in which she accused Khloé’s mother, Kris Jenner, of mistreatment during their 23-year marriage.
In 2017, Caitlyn said she hasn’t spoken to Khloé and the rest of the Kardashian sisters in over two years. “I don’t talk about that side of the family, I spent 23 years of my life with those kids it’s difficult to talk about it, terribly terribly sad,” she told Piers Morgan at the time. “I’ve lost all relationship with them, yes, I don’t talk to any of them anymore.”
A source also confirmed to Celebuzz! about the estrangement, telling us Caitlyn has been “shunned by the family” since the release of her memoir.
“Kim and Kris wants nothing to do with her,” the insider shared. “The rest of the girls are just keeping their distance.”
