"Nancy Pelosi’s stink eye is EVERYTHING!!!!!" tweeted Andy Cohen, while Albert Brooks wondered, "When does he thank Russia?"
Donald Trump gave his first State of the Union address Tuesday night, and Hollywood was tuning in. Many stars took to social media to live-tweet the #SOTU, responding in real-time to the various points Trump made throughout his hour-plus speech.
As you might expect, most of them weren't all that impressed.
The stars probably found the time to write their tweets during the near-constant applause and standing ovations from the Republicans in attendance. Democrats, meanwhile, were at best completely stoic. Others, like Nancy Pelosi and members of the Congressional Black Caucus, could barely hide the disdain on their faces. Like a bad reality show, cameras kept cutting to Democrats at key points in the speech as if to point out how displeased they were with Trump's words, and the Republican enthusiasm to each and every one of them.

He set of a string of boos from Democrats in attendance when he started talking about immigration. "My duty, and the sacred duty of every elected official in this chamber is to defend Americans — because Americans are dreamers too," Trump said, which some equated to saying #AllLivesMatter in response to #BlackLivesMatter. Dreamers is a term that has come to be associated with immigrants.
Trump touched on several of his key political issues, including terrorism, health care, employment and North Korea. He notably made no mention of Russia, and even managed to get the phrase "beautiful black coal" trending on its own.

Many weighing in from Hollywood weren't buying what Trump was trying to sell, but a few conservative actors applauded the president. See the reactions, point by point, below.
IMMIGRATION
"For decades, open borders have allowed drugs and gangs to pour into our most vulnerable communities," the president said. "They have allowed millions of low-wage workers to compete for jobs and wages against the poorest Americans. Most tragically, they have caused the loss of many innocent lives."
He misrepresented the current immigration policies, saying, "Under the current broken system, a single immigrant can bring in virtually unlimited numbers of distant relatives," Trump said. "Under our plan, we focus on the immediate family by limiting sponsorships to spouses and minor children. This vital reform is necessary, not just for our economy, but for our security, and our future."
Dreamers should not be used as a bargaining chip or held hostage in exchange for anti-immigrant policies. #SOTU
