After years of fan speculation, Shawn Mendes has finally confirmed that he’s collaborating with longtime bestie and fellow artist Niall Horan, and we couldn’t be more excited! The only bad news? It might not be anytime soon.
In a recent interview, the 19-year-old Canadian singer — who just joined the cast of this major TV show — explained that the two have tried to sit down and write a song together on multiple occasions, but because they’re such good friends, they always end up just hanging out instead! LOL!
“It’s better off that way because if there’s a friendship, then the song comes easy…So, one day, I promise! I promise, guys.”
