Justin Timberlake, who recently starred in Woody Allen’s movie Wonder Wheel, was trying to be sort of funny on Twitter by asking for an explanation for the age old saying, “Having your cake and eating it too.”
Random question: Can someone please explain the saying, “You just want your cake and to eat it too.”

Turns out killjoy Dylan Farrow came in with a real explanation.
The saying means, for example, you can’t support #TIMESUP and praise sexual predators at the same time. You can’t retain your credibility as an activist (i.e. – retain the cake) and, at the same time, praise a sexual predator (i.e. – eating the cake).

Understandable considering she alleges she was molested by Woody Allen when she was a kid and Justin Timberlake wore a “Time’s Up” pin at the Golden Globes after working with Allen.
There’s really nothing Timberlake can say so he just ignored it and replied to someone else’s explanation.

Asked for comment, Timberlake said, “Dylan who? What’s Twitter? Where am I?!,” and then quickly ran off.
