OK! has published an article debunking many of the false pregnancy rumors about Jennifer Aniston over the past 20 years. It’s an odd piece, considering that Gossip Cop busted the tabloid just last week for claiming she was having Brad Pitt’s baby. Of course, the outlet itself has published countless articles over the years about the actress being pregnant, despite all of a sudden acknowledging she never was.
“Jennifer Aniston’s Pregnant! Or Is She? All The Baby Rumors Over Nearly 20 Years,” reads a headline posted on the tabloid’s website. The accompanying article notes that pregnancy rumors about Aniston “date back to 1999” when the actress was starring on “Friends” and dating Pitt. The outlet even says that “nobody has been more publicly pressured” to have a baby than Aniston. Once again, OK! is as guilty of this as any of the other tabloids.
From there, the magazine provides examples of “almost two decades worth of pregnancy rumors and how they progressed.” Over the years, Aniston been falsely impregnated by Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer, Gerard Butler and estranged husband Justin Theroux, to name just a few. Despite OK! now deciding to point out that none of these reports were true, the tabloid has jumped on the bandwagon countless times.
In fact, the magazine’s latest cover story, released just last week, said Aniston was pregnant with Pitt’s baby after supposedly reconciling with the movie star. Gossip Cop debunked the cover story as soon as it emerged. We’ve repeatedly been told by reps for both stars that they haven’t reunited, and People recently confirmed that Pitt and Aniston “haven’t seen each other in ages.”
Still, the magazine’s latest article about the exes wrongly contends that they’ve been “secretly meeting up for months.” The outlet goes on to say that during one of their so-called “romantic get-togethers,” Aniston suggested they have baby, and Pitt agreed. A source close to the actor laughed off the report, before telling Gossip Cop on the condition of anonymity that it was nonsense. As noted above, the ex-spouses aren’t back together in any capacity.
Meanwhile, OK! has a long history of wrongly impregnating the actress, so the tabloid’s rundown of false pregnancy rumors is quite confounding. Last August, the magazine published a bogus cover story saying Aniston was having a “miracle baby at 48.” 10 months have passed and no child has arrived. To recap, a tabloid that has spent years falsely impregnating Aniston is now debunking 20 years of pregnancy rumors directly after saying she was having a baby with her ex-husband. Unfortunately, Gossip Cop suspects the tabloid will forget all about its latest piece and spread more pregnancy rumors going forward. Check out last week’s cover story below.
