Halle Berry, Keanu Reeves NOT Dating, Despite Report

Halle Berry and Keanu Reeves are not dating, despite a false tabloid report. The bogus claim seems to have been concocted simply because the two are co-starring in a movie together. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.

It was announced just last week that Berry would be joining the cast of John Wick: Chapter 3, and Life & Style is already claiming that she’s in a “hot new romance” with the star of the film. A supposed source bluntly tells the magazine, “Halle and Keanu are dating.” The “insider” goes on to say that the two realized they’d be more than friends “as soon as they started to get to know each other,”

The outlet’s supposed source then conveniently states that the pair won’t go public with their relationship until production wraps because they want to keep it “on the down-low” for now. “Keanu is totally Halle’s type,” adds the seemingly nonexistent tipster. “She likes that he’s very mysterious, introspective and down-to-earth.”

The magazine’s sister publication, In Touch, is also pushing the false narrative. An alleged insider tells the tabloid that Berry believes “she’s finally found a suitable guy to date” after a string of failed relationships. “There’s no hiding their attraction,” adds the suspicious source. “They not only make a gorgeous couple, but Keanu is just what Halle needs, and vice versa.”

The outlet has zero evidence to back up this storyline. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Berry, who tells us on the condition of anonymity that she and Reeves aren’t dating. Also, production on the John Wick sequel only began a few weeks ago, and the actress has yet to shoot the majority of her scenes. In fact, it appears Berry has only spent one day on the set of the movie so far. The actress was first photographed on the New York City set of the film last Wednesday. Berry was then seen jetting out of town on Thursday. She and Reeves haven’t even had time to strike up a romance.

It’s worth noting, the tabloids have proven to have very little insight into Berry’s love life. Earlier this year, Gossip Cop called out a magazine for wrongly reporting that the actress was dating Brad Pitt. Several publications also printed lies surrounding her 2017 breakup from ex-boyfriend Alex Da Kid. Meanwhile, it’s common practice for the gossip media to romantically link two co-stars, but Berry and Reeves simply aren’t a couple.
