Later that day, the 65-year-old was dropped by her talent agency ICM Partners. In an internal note to all of its employees, the company wrote:
"We are all greatly distressed by the disgraceful and unacceptable tweet from Roseanne Barr this morning. What she wrote is antithetical to our core values, both as individuals and as an agency… Consequently, we have notified her that we will not represent her. Effective immediately, Roseanne Barr is no longer a client."
Additionally, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the network has suspended the show's Emmys "For Your Consideration" campaign. This Sunday, Roseanne actors will NOT be participating in a daylong promotional event for TV Academy members on the Disney lot. (Barr was never expected to participate.)
Furthermore, the program was removed from ABC's press website on Tuesday morning.
Not a good day for Roseanne!
