A tabloid report claiming Emma Watson acts like a “diva” on movie sets is completely baseless and filled with factual inaccuracies. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told there’s no truth to it.

According to the National Enquirer, the actress is very fussy with the food that’s offered on set and demands that vegan meals be delivered to her trailer. The unreliable magazine describes Watson as a “bratty beauty,” before speculating that she “acts like a prima donna” at work because she got used to “being waited on as a child star.” An alleged insider then tells the outlet, “Her every whim has to be addressed!”

There’s one major issue with the tabloid’s article: Watson isn’t a vegan. The untrustworthy outlet likely assumed the actress doesn’t eat meat because she’s been spotted wearing vegan shoe brands in the past. Watson is particularly a fan of Good Guys sneakers, which are eco-friendly and don’t use any animal products in its designs.

However, the actress’s choice of footwear doesn’t determine her diet. A recent article detailing Watson’s “rules for eating” indicated that she eats “a lot of lean meats.” Additionally, the actress is an outspoken activist for many causes, including gender equality, but she’s never said anything in public about being vegan. A mutual pal of ours and Watson also tells Gossip Cop on the condition of anonymity that she’s “not vegan.”

There’s yet another problem with the magazine’s story: Watson isn’t filming anything at the moment. Despite insisting she’s being a “diva” on set, the tabloid conveniently fails to mention the name of the project she’s currently working on. That’s because Watson isn’t on the set of a film right now.

Meanwhile, many of the actress’s former colleagues have had nothing but nice things to say about her. Nina Dobrev, who co-starred with Watson in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, said working with the actress was “a dream.” Meanwhile, Watson’s Beauty and the Beast co-star Luke Evans said she “encapsulates everything a Disney princess should be,” while Colonia director Florian Gallenberger said Watson “has a bright presence” on set.

Additionally, the Enquirer is hardly a reliable outlet when it comes to getting accurate news about Watson. Last December, Gossip Cop busted the publication for wrongly reporting that the actress was developing a romance with Robert Pattinson. Obviously, the two never dated. This latest article alleging that Watson is difficult on set is equally phony.
