Blake Shelton “Can’t Be Bothered” By Marriage, Baby Rumors

Blake Shelton “can’t be bothered” anymore by speculation about him and Gwen Stefani getting married or having a baby, a source reveals to Gossip Cop. We’re told he’s become “immune” to it all. That’s because the vast majority of what’s said and written about him is pure fiction, as we’ve noted in the past.
Ever since Shelton and Gwen Stefani got together a few years ago, there have been a slew of reports about them alternately getting married or splitting up, as well as having babies. After a while, says a source who works with him, Shelton “just decided he can’t be bothered.” We’re told initially it “got under his skin,” but that was some time ago, and he’s since adopted a view that most of what’s said or written about him and Stefani is untrue or fake news, and it’s not worth getting upset over.
Just a month ago, Shelton even tweeted, “99% of the things you read about [me] on social media or the internet isn’t true.” He continued, “It’s actually disturbing,” meaning how many falsehoods are actually written and spread about him. But the country singer added, “I rarely even look at it anymore because I know it’s mostly fake.”
And indeed a lot of it is. For example, just a couple of days into the New Year, OK! falsely maintained in a cover story that Shelton and Stefani got married in an “intimate backyard ceremony just days before Christmas.” The tabloid wrongly asserted the nonexistent wedding had “just 27 of the couple’s nearest and dearest gathered in Gwen’s back garden” and it “only set them back $23,000.”
That same tabloid later untruthfully reported Stefani was pregnant with his baby. Of course, it wasn’t true, much like the handful of other times OK! made that exact same claim on its cover. In 2017, for example, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for wrongly contending Stefani was pregnant with her and Shelton’s twins.
The phony articles about the couple expecting appear to have inspired Shelton to joke this past February, while preforming at his restaurant Ole Red in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, that the crowd was “very lucky” that particular night because Stefani was joining him onstage for a duet, even though she “actually gave birth to twins yesterday.” Gossip Cop’s insider reiterates that these days Shelton is bound to mock or just ignore the untrue marriage and baby claims than to be angered by them. “He’s happy, and he’s not going to let any of the nonsense bring him down,” concludes our Shelton source.
