Nicole Kidman is not helping her daughter Isabella Cruise adopt a child, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. A rep for the actress tells us it’s not true.
Kidman adopted Isabella in 1992 with then-husband Tom Cruise, and according to the latest issue of In Touch, the actress is now helping her daughter with the same process. An alleged insider tells the magazine that the 25-year-old fashion designer is “set on giving a child a chance like she had,” and her mom has been “pouring her energy” into helping her do so.
The outlet’s questionable source goes on to say that Kidman has paid for Isabella and her husband Max Parker to receive pre-adoption counseling to prepare for the child. “She will help them finalize papers and oversee everything, as well as give as much emotional support as she can,” adds the seemingly nonexistent tipster.
This entire article is based on information from an anonymous and untraceable “source,” but Kidman’s own spokesperson tells Gossip Cop on the record that she’s not in the process of helping her daughter adopt a child. There’s also not a single credible outlet reporting that Isabella plans to adopt a kid, nor has the fashion designer publicly expressed a desire to do so. The tabloid’s article is random, wrong and only corroborated by unknown “insiders.”
It’s worth noting, In Touch is hardly a reliable source when it comes to getting accurate news about the actress. Most of the time, the magazine is making up false stories about the state of her marriage. Last month, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for wrongly reporting that Keith Urban had “walked out” on Kidman following a string of arguments. In the time since we debunked the article, the happy spouses have been spotted together at numerous events.
In March, Gossip Cop called out the untrustworthy tabloid for falsely claiming that Kidman and Urban were getting a divorce following a failed “counseling retreat” to save their marriage. Naturally, nothing about the report was remotely true. Time has proven that the magazine has very little credibility when it comes to reporting about the actress’s personal life.
Kidman’s own rep now confirms that the publication has no insight about the actress’s daughter either. Considering the tabloid’s incredibly poor track record and the fact that the actress’s spokesperson dismissed this latest report, it’s clear the outlet consistently publishes lies.
